David C. Tobelman
David Tobelman is the director of technical operations and planning, overseeing the project management office of the Division of Business Affairs, which includes financial systems support and facilities information systems. In this role, he provides planning and guidance in the evolution of administrative technology at UNC Charlotte, consulting support for departments, and leadership in streamlining work processes and policies to ensure the University's services and systems are effective and efficient in meeting the business needs of the departments and the institution.
Prior to joining UNC Charlotte, he served as executive director of information systems at Savannah College of Art and Design and as a managing director at Keane, Inc.
Tobelman received a B.S. in management information systems from High Point University. He is credentialed as a certified negotiator by Harvard Law's Program on Negotiation. Additionally, he is a certified business analyst and certified project manager by UNC Charlotte’s Continuing Education and is certified in change management by Prosci, Inc.
