December Congratulations

• Chris Gonyar, director of Emergency Management, recently received the North Carolina Emergency Management Association Executive Level Certification and became a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) through the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM). Gonyar joins only 1,300 individuals worldwide who have the prestigious CEM certification.

• Chris Maynard, travel and complex payments specialist in the Disbursements Department, is retiring after 15 years of service. Her last day will be Dec. 23.
