Safety and Security

The Department of Safety and Security assesses risks, develops plans, and implements programs to protect lives and property, prevent accidents and incidents, and preserve the learning environment and reputation of UNC Charlotte.

It includes the offices of Emergency Management, Environmental Health and Safety, and Police and Public Safety.
