The purpose of the Risk Management, Safety and Security (RMSS) department is to assess risk, develop plans, and implement programs to protect lives and property, prevent accidents and incidents, and preserve the learning environment and reputation of the University. RMSS includes Police and Public Safety, Business Continuity Planning, Environmental Health and Safety, and Risk Management and Insurance.

The Incident Reporting Forms have been updated.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requires employers to keep a record of work-related deaths, injuries or illnesses that involves loss of consciousness, restricted work activity or job transfer, days away from work, or medical treament beyond first aid. This information must be recorded on OSHA's form 300 and posted from Feburary 1 through April 30th each year.
